ThermoKing Plastic Belting(R) is designed to be an alternative to fabric reinforced, plied conveyor belting. ThermoKing is an extruded, homogeneous, Thermo Plastic belt that will stay clean longer during production runs and easily welds in place on the conveyor. Instead of spending hours endlessing plied belting with a water-cooled press or waiting for an adhesive bond to cure, you could use your ThermoTool(R) to weld ThermoKing and be up and running in minutes.
Compare the total costs of ThermoKing Plastic Belting with the total costs of conventional plied belting plus all of the added costs required for labor to clean, maintain and replace fabric belts. Long-term, you'll experience no wicking or edge fraying, and drastically reduced maintenance. ThermoKing belting may be operated at a lower total cost. Improved life expectancy, simplified installation, and simplified cleaning procedures all reduce the cost of ownership. The ThermoKing Plastic Belting System may be a more valuable alternative for your company.
Some of the characteristics of the ThermoKing Plastic Belting System include:
TPH (polyester) is our hardest durometer range with superior chemical resistance as well as excellent resistance to cuts and abrasions. TPH works very well under high load and high temperature applications. Meets all FDA/USDA/3A standards for sanitary conveying.
Fabrication Possibilities Include:
TUB, TUW and TUT (polyurethane) ranges are most effective for applications in all general and continuous processing environments. Softer than TPH material, this material has high tear resistance, and is available with surface profile options. Meets all FDA/USDA/3A standards for sanitary conveying.
Fabrication Possibilities Include:
TURE, TURW and TURBU (polyurethane) are fabric reinforced products that allow surface embossing in a variety of profiles, including Crescent top, Medium Roughtop, Longitudinal Rib, Pebble Top and Meat Cleat. This material may also be edge capped to prevent any wicking. This style of belting can be used in applications that had typically relied on 1- and 2-ply fabric belting due to heavy product loads. Meets all FDA/USDA standards for sanitary conveying.
Fabrication Possibilities Include:
We also stock a large selection of v-guide (standard and deep notched) as well as several styles of round belting in varying diameters. Most v-guide and round belt ships in 24 hours.
